2017 Challenger Series Overview

SYWTW FS

Introduced in the 2014-15 season, the ISU Challenger Series brings together several well-known minor competitions, running from September to December. Top skaters often use Challenger competitions to warm up before their Grand Prix events and gain World Standing points. Scores recorded at Challenger competitions count for a skater’s season/personal best. This year’s Nebelhorn Trophy will also serve as the last Olympic Qualifying Event for countries that have not yet earned spots for the 2018 Winter Olympics.

This post is only an overview; we will make separate posts before each competition with more detailed information and streaming links. For information on attending the events, please contact the organizers/skating federations. Note that entries are subject to change and some entries have not yet been announced.
