2016 US & Canadian National Championships: Info & Streaming

Get ready! Japan and Russia have crowned their national champions for the season, and now all eyes will turn to North America for the US and Canadian National Championships taking place next week. This post will focus on the senior events, but will also provide information on how to watch the competition at lower levels. More information will be added as it appears.

US NATIONALS

Levels: juvenile, intermediate, novice, junior, senior
Notes: US Nationals is one of the competitions used to decide the 4CC and World teams. The USA is the only country to have four spots on their national podium; 4th-place finishers are awarded a “pewter medal”.

HOW TO WATCH
Icenetwork will stream the competition live, at all levels, except for the last few groups of the senior free skates, which will be aired live on NBC (see below). The gala will not be streamed live, but will be available on demand on February 2. Icenetwork coverage of US Nationals will be available worldwide, but only to subscribers.
ETA: Someone has kindly set up a restream of Icenetwork for people without subscriptions! I don’t know if it will work for the entire competition, however.
NBC will air the last few groups of the senior free skates live, and the gala several days delayed. Broadcast schedule in EST:
