2020 Grand Prix Series Overview
SYWTW FS
The 2020-21 Grand Prix Series will be unlike any season before it. Due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Grand Prix events will be more domestic in nature. Competitors and officials at each of the six Grand Prix events must represent the host country, train in the host country, or are in the same geographical area and able to travel to the host country.
This post is only an overview; we will make separate posts before each competition with more detailed viewing information. Entries are subject to change.

FORMAT
World standing points will not be given on the 2020 Grand Prix, and scores will not count towards the minimum TES for ISU Championships. Prize money is available, but amounts vary depending on whether a discipline is “qualified”. To be “qualified”, a discipline at a Grand Prix must have at least one full group of skaters (6 men, 6 ladies, 5 ice dance teams, 4 pairs), and 3 entries (2 if one skater/team is seeded) from the top 24 season’s best or world standings of the 2019-20 season.
Exhibitions at Grand Prix events are optional and can be held at the discretion of the organizers.
See the Grand Prix Announcement for more details.
