JAPAN OPEN
Japan Open is a team competition where skaters represent Team Japan, Team North America, and Team Europe. Skaters compete with free skates only. Skaters’ scores are added together and the team with the highest score wins. Japan Open also invites skaters who have retired from active competition. The Japan Open gala is named Carnival on Ice and includes skaters who did not participate in the competition.
